a) How did you get started in Tattooing ?
I apprenticed under Jon Garber initially.
b) What was your first tattoo ?
A portrait of a geisha, on myself.
c) Do you have any artistic training prior to getting into the industry ?
I got a lot of art advice growing up from different tattooers,
since my mother was a tattooer and I would hang around the shop often.
d) Who influence you a lot with your current tattoo style ?
I admire Ralf Nonnweilers work a lot.
e) Do you find your work attracts a specific type of clientele?
Certain images attract certain people. But I work on many different kinds of people with different ideas.
f) What’s your actual tattooing process like?
Shading, no lines. Black ink and one grey wash. Thats my preference.
g) How do you see your style evolving?
I’m more interested in doing hand sized pieces focussing on realism in the future.
h) What styles of tattooing covers your current body of work ?
Black and grey realism.
